Key benchmark indices ended the first trading day of fiscal 2012-13 on a positive note after having witnessed a choppy session. The BSE Sensex ended at 17,478.15, up 73.95 points while the Nifty ended at 5,317.90, up 22.35 points.

During the day, the NSE benchmark index had touched that day's high at 5331.55 the day's low at 5271.35

Nifty Futures shut stop at 5350.65 up 17.40 points or 0.33 %. It is looking bullish in the coming trading session if it manages to trade above the resistance level of 5380 else below support level of 5300 it would be in a downward trend.

RESISTANCE: It has first resistance close to the level of 5380 & above this level the next resistance is seen near the 5410 mark.

SUPPORT: It has first support close to the level of 5300 & below this level the next support is seen near 5230 mark.
