Key share indices extended losses for the third straight day on Friday, shrugging off firm global cues, dragged by oil shares on concerns of rising global crude oil prices. Other losers include capital goods and financial shares. The 30-share Sensex ended below 18,000 levels at 17,923.57 down by 154.93 points or 0.86 % and the 50-share Nifty ended at 5429.30 down by 54 points or 0.98 %. The Sensex and the Nifty reached an intra-day low of 17,848.93 levels and 5,405.90 marks, respectively.
Nifty Futures shut stop at 5486 down by -53 points or -0.96 %. It is looking bullish in the coming trading session if it manages to trade above the resistance level of 5570 else below support level of 5450 it would be in a downward trend.
RESISTANCE: It has first resistance close to the level of 5570 & above this level the next resistance is seen near the 5640 mark.
SUPPORT: It has first support close to the level of 5450 & below this level the next support is seen near 5390 mark.
