In banking, CNX Bank Index lost -164.10 point or -1.98 %. Amongst the banking index Punjab National Bank, Bank of India and ICICI Bank lead the row.

Bank Nifty Futures shut stop at 8121.65 down by -153.70 points or -1.86 %. It is looking bullish in the coming trading session if it manages to trade above the resistance level of 8250 else below support level of 8050 it would be in a downward trend.
