At the National Stock Exchange (NSE) index futures saw a trading volume of Rs 205,496.5 million arising out of 803,852 contracts and Index options saw 3,328,024 contracts getting traded at a notional value of Rs 911,827 million. The total turnover of the Futures & Options segment of the Exchange was around Rs 1,317.39 billion.

The top ten contracts contributed to around 32% of the total traded volume in Futures on individual securities. Tata Motors was the most active future contracts on individual securities traded today with 30,805 contracts and ICICI Bank was the next most active futures contracts with 27,681 contracts being traded.
